HAPPY MARCH!! Lion or Lamb where you are? Little of both here in Mich. Well, this first day of March comes with good news! Nom Nom,the little stray we found,has been given the green light for surgery! We are so pleased that she will have a new lease on life soon. Thanks so much to our friends at AnnArbor Cat Clinic!!I am looking forward to lots of other greens by months end...St.Patty's Day, grass starting to bud even just a hint and lots of GREEN TEMPTATION bags LOL! Had to sneak that in there. No,my mom has me on a pretty much treat free diet...but catnip..OH BOY!! That is allowed and I LOVE IT!!My human brother is trying to grow a little tray of it for me...yum!! Have a great March in to a new month everyone. Hugs and purrs,Rosie

FREAKY FRIDAY!!

This is me....hiding from FRIDAY! Why would I hide from the precursor to my weekend...Michigan weather!! We were supposed to have a "WINTER STORM". Instead, we got just enough to have Mom white knuckled taking my humans to school and slushy sloppy slippery all the way home! I am gonna stay right here...on my oldest human brother's bed..amongst the smileys and ignore the weather at the window! I am gonna dream sweet dreams for little Nom Nom that we are still praying our angels at AnnArbor Cat Clinic will be able to save. She has two broken back legs and a displaced femoral head,the equivalent to our hip bone. She was in so much pain and momma didn't know because she still purred,loved,kneaded biscuits and wanted affection. Now we wait and pray that her injuries are repairable and that the evil person/people that did this to her will NEVER do it again. Friday hugs...now back...to...ZZzzzzzz Rosie.

Tear Jerker Tuesday

Well whatta weekend!! My poor Mom rescued an injured kitten that had an obvious broken leg and was starving! That was tough seeing a fellow kitty look that way when I am sooooo well, fluffy! Mom fed her, gave her a warm room to stay in and my humans all doted over her. I was not allowed to go in because mom didn't know if she had her shots or anything. I talked to her through the door and even stuck my paw under sometimes to say hello. Anyways, everything was closed until today pretty much and we had to find her help. Mom said something about wishing she'd win the lotto to help all the kitties and doggies and such...well we found a wonderful clinic called the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic and Mom was able to take her there for medical treatment. Although we will miss the poor little gal, she will get EXCELLENT care and love. Then she will get a furrever home. We were the go betweens to give this little beauty a second chance. How lucky we were to be blessed with little NOMNOM as My human called her...because she literally said this when she devoured her food!It was a short acquaintance but we are the better for it..as she. She knows there is SOMEONE who cares after someone who did NOT care hurt her. Now she is surrounded by great people who will give her all that we cannot. Tears of sentiment and JOY. Be well and be loved little Nom, you will be in our hearts furrever. SNIFF PURRR...Rosie.

OK, don't get scared...this isn't me..Mom just borrowed this to show how I feel today. The "D" word has commenced and I am NOT lovin' it! I WANT MY KIBBLE!! These little spoonfuls here and there are NOT cutting it! Mom is trying to pass off some wet glop as my food....are you kidding me!! Friday and a week of changes

Mama is sad..... Our Lulu turned out to be a Jekyl/Hyde and even though I knew this,she had to learn it the hard way. Lulu nipped some neighbor dog before she could grab him,she is mean to my human brother and has food aggression. Lulu had to be rehomed with a nice lady with NO little ones and NO other doggies. I even was on her hitlist. It was sad, but Mama has learned to thoroughly research her breeds before fostering/rescuing again so all of us won't go through this again. For now, I am giving her lots of purrs,headbutts of love and snuggles to comfort her. She is pretty mad at herself for letting this happen....but I still love her...I don't have thumbs and need her for the treat jar..wink wink. Happy Weekend,Rosie.

She thought I ACTUALLY would stoop low enough to wanting her slobbery ole dog treat...so she lunged at me, growled real loud and made Mom WEAR her morning coffee instead of drinking it!! SOOO... Well, It has dropped nearly 25 degrees since the start of this day and the end of it! Mom was "de-snowmanning" the house even though she knows we still have ALOT of winter left..silly woman! I am just going along, day to day being the good kitty I am. Never complaining..much....and being cute and chubby..then Mom brought THIS HOME!!! This black fuzzball of terror. Can't you tell by the look in its eyes how menacing this is to my peaceful existence!!! There will be revenge!! I can't talk right now...this dark poof can fly let me tell you and she is chasing me down the hall!! Do I look like a chew toy you crazy dog !!!
